The Challenge

Our client, a multidisciplinary infrastructure business, was an established business but lacking a clear brand identity. They were looking to win business and grow their capabilities in the access control and HV electrical sectors to fulfil ambitions of becoming a £50m+ turnover business.

With a good record of delivery and safety, the client required a strong profile raising campaign to develop their existing brand and a refresh of their bidding capabilities to ensure they were able to win the levels of work required to achieve their ambitious growth plans.

Insight

Starting from a blank canvas, Business Daily Group’s team needed to create a memorable brand identity for the client and incorporate this into the client’s work-winning activities, including multiple PQQs and ITTs. 

Action

Business Daily Group developed a memorable group brand identity and supporting marketing collateral, including a modern website, brandbook and suite of marketing collateral. We then implemented a 12-month profile raising campaign across multiple channels to promote the new brand. Incorporated the brand identity into our bidding work, which consisted of multiple PQQ and tender submissions on various frameworks.  

Impact

The client’s new brand identity became instantly recognisable and was featured in multiple national trade publications. The profile raising campaign implemented by Business Daily Group generated thousands of new website visitors in the first 12 months. Following our support on the client’s bidding processes and tender submissions, the client was awarded a £multimillion contract with National Grid, with the potential for a further £300 million of opportunities.

 

What next?

With the initial rebrand complete and the client’s pipeline looking healthy, our attention has switched to diversifying in the marketplace. We’re supporting the client on a new Civils division brand and a group-wide rebrand of all marketing assets. Next, we’ll be working on a strategic pipeline generation plan for entering the healthcare sector. Our relationship with the client continues to grow and flourish as their business does.
